The privacy of your data is a big deal to us. StoreWizard is built with simplicity and security in mind — your regional price calculations and data are processed locally in your browser. We never upload your pricing information, calculations, or connected platform data (like Google Play or App Store accounts) to our servers.

Identity and Access

When you first use StoreWizard, we ask for only the information needed to provide our service. This includes:

Your email address, used to manage your license, authenticate your account, and send product updates.
Basic usage data, such as feature interactions and performance metrics (collected via Google Analytics).
When you subscribe to StoreWizard Pro, your license and billing details are securely handled by Paddle — our merchant of record — and Firebase, which stores license and authentication information.

We never access your App Store or Google Play credentials, nor do we store any API keys or tokens from your accounts.

All price generation, calculations, and export processing happen locally in your browser. StoreWizard does not transmit this data to our servers.

Payments

All payment processing is handled by Paddle, a GDPR-compliant payment provider acting as our merchant of record.
Paddle collects the minimum necessary information to process your order — typically including your name, country, payment method, and billing address (where required by law).

We receive from Paddle only limited, non-sensitive order data such as transaction ID, plan type, and currency. StoreWizard and its team never have access to your full payment details.

If you need assistance with billing or refunds, Paddle can be reached directly at help@paddle.com.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how StoreWizard is used — for example, which features are popular or whether users encounter issues.
These analytics are aggregated and anonymized. They help us prioritize improvements and provide a better user experience.
No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Communications

When you contact us by email at contact@storewizard.app, your messages are stored securely within our Gmail workspace.

We may occasionally send you product updates or tips via Loops.so, our email communication provider. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in the email or contacting us directly.

Subprocessors

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate StoreWizard.
None of these partners have access to your price data or any browser-processed calculations.

Backend Hosting

Provider: Fly.io
Location: Netherlands
Purpose: Hosts backend services that manage user accounts, configuration data, and secure communication between the extension and our systems.

Authentication & Licensing

Provider: Firebase (Google)
Location: EU/US
Purpose: Used for user login, license validation, and secure data storage.

Payment Processing

Provider: Paddle
Location: United Kingdom
Purpose: Acts as our merchant of record and manages all billing, subscriptions, and refunds.

Email Communication

Provider: Loops.so
Location: EU/US
Purpose: Sends product updates and important account-related messages. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Analytics

Provider: Google Analytics
Location: EU/US
Purpose: Collects anonymized usage metrics to help us improve the StoreWizard experience.

Help Center

Provider: Featurebase
Location: European Union
Purpose: Hosts our public help articles at storewizard.featurebase.app/help

We never sell or share your personal data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your account, license, and order information for as long as your StoreWizard account is active or as required by law.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@storewizard.app.
Upon deletion, all associated personal information will be permanently removed from our systems and any connected services.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
All communications between your browser and our systems are encrypted via HTTPS.
Sensitive data such as license details and billing references are stored securely using Firebase and Paddle’s encryption and access-control mechanisms.

International Data Transfers

Some subprocessors (such as Firebase, Loops, and Paddle) may process data outside of the EU.
These transfers are protected through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards to ensure compliance with GDPR.

Your Rights (GDPR)

As an EU user, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time
File a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your data is being misused

StoreWizard is intended for professional and business use only.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.
